Summertime in Shanghai with its scorching heat is unbearable, but then I remind myself of the misery of Syracuse weather, and a smile forms.
Thoughts on romance. Picking up where I left off last time, as I was pondering this question of finding someone who complements me on every dimension (physical, social, emotional, functional, spiritual,) I came across a parallel in a fictional character’s life. By the way, if you can read Chinese, pick up Jin Yong or Louis Cha (his English pen name)’s fantasy martial arts novels. If you can’t read Chinese, it’s motivation to learn. There is a character that is quite indecisive and wavering, especially when it come
